What Amora Is

Amora is a private couples app designed to help partners connect through daily questions, a shared journal, stories, and memories. It's built for two people in a relationship, not groups, not families, just couples.

Your Account

You must be 18 years or older to use Amora.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
One account per person, one couple per account.
You agree to provide accurate information.

Your Content

You own everything you create in Amora, photos, answers, memories, and journal entries. We don't claim ownership of your content.

By using Amora, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and sync your content solely to provide the service to you and your partner. We won't use your content for anything else.

Acceptable Use

Amora is built for genuine couples. You agree not to:

Use Amora for any illegal activity
Share content that violates someone else's rights
Attempt to access another person's account
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
Use automated systems to access the app

Subscription & Payment

Amora offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription.
One subscription unlocks Pro for both partners, but the account that made the purchase controls billing.
The price, currency, billing period, and any trial are shown before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. A trial converts to the displayed paid plan unless the purchaser cancels before the trial ends.
Web purchases are processed through RevenueCat Billing using Stripe and can be managed or cancelled from your Amora billing account. Purchases made in an app are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase.
Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access available until the current paid or trial period ends. Refund eligibility is determined by the payment platform's rules and applicable law.

Lifetime Purchases

A Lifetime purchase, such as Lifetime Pro or the Lifetime Max upgrade, is paid once. It never renews and is never charged again.
Lifetime means the lifetime of Amora, not of a person. It gives the features of that plan for as long as we operate Amora and offer those features to anyone.
It belongs to the account that bought it, and covers both partners while you are paired in Amora. If you unpair, only the person who bought it keeps it.
Amora changes over time. We will not take away from Lifetime holders a feature that subscribers to the same plan still get.
Some features depend on other companies' services, such as date night with Netflix and YouTube. If those services change or stop, those features may change or stop too.
If we ever stop operating Amora, we will tell you at least 90 days before, in the app and by email, and you will be able to export your data.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights, including any refund the law gives you. Other refunds follow the rules of the platform you bought through.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Amora available 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance, and sometimes things break. We're not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Amora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not relationship counselors, Amora is a tool for connection, not professional advice. If you're experiencing relationship difficulties, please seek professional help.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
